  1. Resource Description
    In kidney tissue, mitochondrial matrix granules are completely absent and cristae are compressed compared to control mice. The mitochondrial matrix appears less dense and more heterogeneous, and in general the kidney mitochondria are smaller and have a more angular appearance.
