Resource Description

Distinct layers were difficult to distinguish in the E15.5 cortex. Cells infiltrated the marginal zone, the subplate was absent and a superplate structure formed near the pial surface. Cortical neurons were not organized radially and there were several cell-free rifts in the cortical plate. The arrangement of cells in the ventricular zone was similar to wild-type and reeler cortices.
