    The Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research (CNDR) at the University of Pennsylvania brings together researchers investigating the causes and mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases that occur more frequently with advancing age. Diseases being studied include: • Alzheimer's disease (AD) • Parkinson's disease (PD) • other Lewy Body Disorders (LBD) • Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (FTD) • Frontotemporal Disease with Parkinsonism (FTDP-17) • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) • Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) • other Motor Neuron Diseases
